JCI Edinburgh Cow Hunt and Pub Crawl in aid of YWCA Scotland

The Cow Parade is in Edinburgh for the Summer, don't miss our fun cow hunt on 11 June in aid of YWCA Scotland. This unique event is a hilarious way to spend a Sunday afternoon. To get an idea what it's all about look at the pictures from the May Cow Hunt.

Spend a fun afternoon exploring Edinburgh, laughing at bizarre cows, taking pictures and having drinks and win some Blankenty Blank-esque prizes.

Simple and fun to play, we will provide a cow map and a cow checklist showing points for each cow, which you will use to tick off your finds. Then you go off in teams photographing yourselves with each cow from our list that you find (each team will need a digital camera). Bonus points will be available for visiting out of town cows (Gyle Centre, Leith, Edinburgh Airport) and for taking bonus pictures of an imaginative nature as explained in the rules. You don't need a team to enter, just come along and we'll team up on the day.

The event starts at 1.15pm with a full Mission briefing at All Bar One (George St). The Cow Mission takes place between 2pm and 5pm and this is followed by drinks, dinner and prize giving at Hamiltons (16-18 Hamilton Place Stockbridge). This will also be your chance to look at hilarious pictures from the other teams and share your best Cow Hunt tales. This is a fun event not to be missed.

Cow Hunt/Pub Crawl Rules

Participants must be either a little mad or udderly fabmoolous - Ideally both!
Objective: To be the team with moost points - because points make prizes!
What you and your team need to do to win points:

1. 1.15pm Meet at All Bar One, George St for full briefing and to meet team mates.
2. 2-5pm Take pictures of yourselves with as many of the cows listed as possible within 3 hours. (A map and list of cows and points will be provided on the day.) Out-of-town cows are worth the most points.
3. Have drinks in bars of your choice and take a picture of yourselves with drinks at each location. (These need not be alcoholic drinks!) Failure to go to any bars will lead to deduction of 50000 points.
4. Get bonus points by taking other pictures as detailed below.
5. 5pm Meet at Hamiltons at (16-18 Hamilton Place, Stockbridge EH3) for drinks, dinner, and prize giving (1000 points will deducted for each minute late)

BONUS POINT PICTURES

Bonus points will be awarded for a picture of:

• The whole team (higher points for imaginative poses)
• Team members in creative and original poses with cows.
• Two or more team members being cows in a busy outdoor location. Extra points if bewildered onlookers are captured in the background.
• One or more team members with a piper
• One or more team members walking a dog
• One or more team members getting on a bus
• A team member hugging a traffic warden
• A team member hugging a police officer
• A team member hugging a pilot
• A giraffe
• Another animals
• The most disgusting item/scene witnessed on your travels...
