As a First Timer at a JCI European conference, I approached it in a Dr Pepper "what's the worst that could happen" fashion. On paper, the concept sounds rather strange. I mentioned it to some people at work and I did get some rather quizzical looks. I mean taking a week off work and flying to Budapest to do some training with JCI does seem odd. However, having been there, done it and bought the T-shirt, it turned out to be a great experience which I would highly recommend to any JCI member, new or old.

When I first joined JCI I kept hearing about conferences, particularly the European conferences. Being told by nearly everyone that I 'had to go'. I bit the bullet and signed up not long after and boy am I glad that I did!
