As a newer member of JCI this was my debut at the Charlotte Square club and I certainly wasn’t disappointed.

Event - Guest speaker Andy McKechnie and the M.A.S.T.E.R.Y technique for public speaking.

Date - Wednesday 17 March 2010 

The calibre of the guest speaker  Andy McKechnie was second to none.  From the outset, I had a feeling I was going to gain from this particular event.

With Andy’s expertise in the field of public speaking he was able to share his specific techniques and how these could be implemented in both professional and public life.  The evening was a variation of direct delivery, lots of interaction and various activities, along with his own stories and personal experiences.
The evening gave us the opportunity to get a taster of applying some of the techniques in a safe and friendly environment.

After this session, I felt re-energised and ready for what lies ahead!
