JCI Edinburgh new local member Emma Little has just become one of three shortlisted international finalists for the JCI World Creative Young Entrepreneur Award. This is a brilliant achievement or “just nuts” as Emma herself would say as she’s proven to be an accomplished entrepreneur competing against entrants from all 110 JCI Countries.
Emma started her Business ExecSpace just over 3 years ago using her life savings. Today she has a team of 8 and a company generating 7 figures. ExecSpace provides a unique service and a great level of customer support which sets them apart. Emma’s ultimate vision is to be the best conference and business accommodation agent in the UK. Emma has had to learn lots of skills through the process of building the company and has some top name clients on her books.
Emma in her spare time is passionate about helping Alzheimer Scotland having supported her Grandmother through this illness. ExecSpace is hosting a fundraising gala dinner on 15 September 2011 at the Macdonald Roxburghe Hotel Edinburgh in aid of Alzheimer Scotland please email

JCI Scotland was delighted to announce Emma Little and James Watt of Brewdog Beer as the joint winners of the Creative Young Entrepreneur Award in Scotland at an awards ceremony held in Glasgow on 12 August. At this event Andrew Murray, who ran from John O' Groats to the Sahara was also awarded the JCI Scotland outstanding young person awards 2011.
We wish Emma and her ExecSpace team (who booked the Dunkeld Hilton for Scottish Leadership Academy for JCI Scotland) all the best in Brussels and the final of the CYEA.
