The Charlotte Square Club is our communication skills club. It is a safe, fun environment where you can get over your fears of speaking in public, or hone your business communication skills. We cater for all abilities from absolute beginners to seasoned experts.
The programmes have been designed to cover the basics skills of public speaking and debating but each session is individual so regular attendance is not required - in fact most members find they dip in and out of the club throughout the year.
Speaking to a group is a major fear for many different people however the only way to get over your fear and become good at speaking to groups is to practice. We offer the opportunity to face your fear in a supportive environment where we can help you develop. It means that when you need to make a presentation at work, or a speech at a wedding, you will be more confident, focussed and able to deal with questions.
Charlotte Square club currently runs from September to March and everyone is welcome - even if you just want to sit and watch!
Charlotte Square Club is free to members, but if you want to come and try it out one night and you're not a member then simply pay our non-member attendence fee of £20.
Check the Events diary for details of dates, times and venues.
